    quote

“We stayed together for quite some time. We were able to really control the pack which was a lot of fun to see that dominance. Just the way we all worked together was really cool. Blaney made the same move he did in the Clash down here in the tri-oval and I didn’t think he would do that again because it didn’t work for him in the Clash. It wasn’t going to work for him again. I had Brad pushing me and then the next thing I know they wadded up behind me again and the 100-feet I didn’t lead the race gave Blaney control. Then there were the two best friends that ever was on the bottom with Darrell (Wallace Jr.) and Blaney there. They pushed the heck out of each other. I couldn’t get the 31 close enough to keep me up there. I got a good run there at the end from the 17 (Ricky Stenhouse Jr.) and was able to get past Bubba to finish second. Two second’s so far this season which is good and bad. I would much rather win. Second is the first loser, so it always hurts the most. Two Penske Fords so far have won these races and hopefully we win the most important one on Sunday.”
