Recap: Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford team claimed their first pole position of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series season on Friday afternoon at Phoenix International Raceway. Logano’s lap of 26.216 seconds was fast enough to edge fellow Ford Performance driver Ryan Blaney, making it an all-Ford front row for Sunday’s Camping World 500. The pole means that for a second consecutive week a Team Penske Ford Fusion will lead the field to the green flag.
