Joey Logano and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang team qualified on the pole for today’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. The effort marks Logano’s third NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) pole of the 2014 season and his 26th career pole in NNS competition. Logano turned a lap of 28.880 seconds (186.981 mph) around the 1.5-mile oval behind the wheel of his No. 22 Discount Ford Mustang.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge will air today at 3:30pm ET on ESPN2. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite Radio Channel 90.
