A First for Logano: Joey Logano (@joeylogano) will be making his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in the Kroger 250 behind the wheel of the Cooper Standard Ford F-150 and first ever on a short track.

  • This is Logano’s first NCWTS start of the 2015 season
  • Made two starts for Brad Keselowski Racing in 2014 – best finish was third at Kansas Speedway where he led 41 laps
  • Owns three top five finishes in six NCWTS starts – best finish is second place at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway (2013) in the No. 19 BKR Ford F-150
  • Has completed 6,014 laps in 12 previous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Martinsville

Joey Logano – No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150: “Martinsville will be my first start in the Cooper Standard Ford F-150 this season and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel. We had very strong trucks last year and I’m certain everyone at Brad Keselowski Racing has worked hard to make them even better this season. This is the first time I’ve competed in a short track race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun plus I think I can learn something for the Cup race.”

Chad Kendrick – Crew Chief, No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150: “Joey got in one of our Cooper Standard Ford F-150 trucks two years ago at Little Rock (test track in Rockingham, N.C.) when we were testing for Martinsville so we have some data on him. He was really smooth. We led laps in both Martinsville races last year and we thought we were a couple of small changes away from having a shot at winning and we’ve implemented those changes and we’re ready to go. Joey has never driven a truck at Martinsville but has a ton of laps there so I’m sure he’ll adjust very quickly.”
