Team Penske drivers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano qualified 26th and 28th, respectively for tomorrow’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

The qualifying session, which was ultimately cut short by rain, saw the two Team Penske drivers just miss out on making it into the top 24. The new elimination style qualifying format has allowed Team Penske to dominate at the majority of the tracks on the NASCAR circuit, however the superspeedways have proven to be the exception so far this season.

Today’s result marks just the fifth time this season that Keselowski qualified outside of the top-six and it is only the third time that Logano has qualified outside the top-10.

“You have to rely on everybody else, and we have a pretty small group with just the three of us that are trying to make something happen so you try to tag along with other groups, but you don’t know what they are doing,” said Logano. “Sometimes they are lifting, sometimes going. It is very difficult to figure out what is going on there. I am still trying to get my thoughts all together. Overall our Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion is good, and we will try to get it into victory lane.”

The Coke Zero 400 will be broadcast live tomorrow at 7:30 pm ET on TNT. The race will also be covered by MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
