Joey Logano, driver of the No. 19 Draw-Tite/Reese Towpower Ford F-150 will be making his season debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Kansas Speedway.

  • Has one previous NCWTS start at Kansas in 2013 – also with Brad Keselowski Racing.
  • Owns two top five finishes in four previous series starts.
  • His best career finish came at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway in 2013 where he scored a second-place finish.
  • His first NCWTS start came in 2008 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway

Joey Logano – No. 19 Draw-Tite/Reese Towpower Ford F-150: “I’m really looking forward to the getting behind the wheel of the Draw-Tite/Reese Towpower/Broken Bow Record Ford F-150 Friday night at Kansas Speedway. The NASCAR Camping World Truck races are just so much fun and there really is no pressure there. We just go out there and try and win the race and try and have fun. Brad (Keselowski, Truck Owner) has put together an impressive program, so it’s cool to get a chance to race. I think we will have an opportunity to run well and have a chance to win the race. I really want to win and be able to say I’ve won in all three national series. That would be a pretty awesome achievement.”

Doug Randolph – Crew Chief, No. 19 Draw-Tite/Reese Towpower/Broken Bow Records Ford F-150: “These next two races (Kansas and Charlotte) will definitely be a measuring stick for our 2014 new body style. It’s a brand new truck for everybody. We’ve been working hard on this new truck since way back to September of last year to develop it and we feel like we’ve made some really big gains but you just never know until everybody shows up on the same day and goes out there. We’re excited about it.

“The way the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule is we hope we’ve got everything correct right now because once we start racing it’s harder for us to make gains like hopefully we’ve been able to make during this past offseason and during this downtime since Martinsville.”

KANSAS WILL BE THE FIRST RACE ON AN INTERMEDIATE TRACK FOR THE TRUCK SERIES WITH NASCAR’S NEW QUALIFYING PROCEDURE. HOW DIFFERENT WILL THAT BE? “I think it’s going to be way different. I think it’s going to be even more different for the Truck series because so many of these mile-and-a-halfs we are wide open and being around people and drafting is a big help. So our qualifying session won’t look like the Cup guys that are basically going out and doing mock runs. We’re going to be trying to sneak a tow off of somebody and I think they’ll be some interesting pit road positioning trying to get out behind somebody.”
