Joey Logano comes off of his 12th-career win last weekend with a little less pressure on his shoulders having locked himself and his No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil team into the round of 8. This weekend, he’s back to defend his Kansas win from last year and also try and win his fifth XFINITY Series race of the season.

“Obviously, everyone is thinking about Talladega and how great it is to have that win that gets us through to the next round because the pressure that a lot of these drivers are going to have on them to get to the next round is big. To be able to have that pressure off of us and to be able to relax and enjoy these next two races is big. Don’t get me wrong, there are still two trophies to win the next two weeks, starting this weekend in Kansas, but to have that pressure off and be able to have our batteries charged up and ready to attack when we get to the next round is gonna pay big dividends I think.”
