“I’ve been fortunate enough to win in the past. It just takes some hard work. The way you drive these NXS cars compared to the way to drive the Cup cars and how they draft is totally different. It’s a little more old school pack racing with these cars. You get runs and make passes a lot easier than the Cup cars. Maybe even more than the Cup race, the spotter is a big deal. I’m really glad I’m running this race so we can get some practice before the Cup race on Sunday night. I’m pretty excited to get back behind the wheel of the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang. I think it would be cool to win two of the three plate races in the series this year. We can do it for sure.”
