Joey Logano will be running double duty this weekend at Richmond International Raceway.
Last week had to have been a frustrating week in the Cup car. Why did you work so hard to get the car fixed with that much damage?
“I’m ready to get back at it after last week’s disappointment at Bristol. That was one of the most frustrating races I’ve ever been a part of. To wreck that early, then wait around under the red for almost four hours just to fix the car and ride around for 400 laps to gain a couple of spots was frustrating. But the guys did an amazing car of fixing the damage we had in the amount of time they did. They busted their butts for me, so I was going to drive as hard as I could for them for those 400 laps. We had a fast car. It was too bad we didn’t show it. So I want to go out there and perform at Richmond.
