The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend with Joey Logano leading the point standings after winning the season-opening Daytona 500 and finishing fourth last weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU LEARNED ANYTHING WITH THE NEW RULES PACKAGE LAST WEEKEND?

“I think we learned some things, but Atlanta is a different animal. It drives so much different than a lot of the other 1.5-mile tracks because of the way tires wear and handling comes into effect. I think you are going to see a lot more of what the new rules package will be this weekend at Vegas. The track doesn’t wear tires as much, so it’s more about setup and aero. But I still think you are going to see a lot of the same teams be strong. You saw it last week, the guys that were up front were up front again. Kevin (Harvick), Jimmie (Johnson), Dale (Earnhardt Jr.), Brad (Keselowski) and the Gibbs cars were all fast. It will be interesting to see how the weekend goes and how we all stack up against each other.”

The Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (1.5-mile) begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 8th. The race will be broadcast live on FOX, Sirius XM Channel 90 and PRN Radio.
