Recap: Joey Logano and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang team qualified on the pole for today’s Great Clips 250 Benefiting Paralyzed Veterans of America at Michigan International Speedway. The effort marks Logano’s third NASCAR XFINITY Series pole of the 2015 season and his 29th career pole in NXS competition. Logano turned a lap of 37.183 seconds (193.637 mph) around the 2-mile oval behind the wheel of his No. 22 Discount Ford Mustang. Logano set a track record in Saturday’s first round of XFINITY Series qualifying and then came back in the final round to earn the pole for this afternoon’s Great Clips 250 Benefiting Paralyzed Veterans of America.
