“Now that I’ve won the Daytona 500 and probably the coolest trophy in our sport, getting a win at Martinsville is pretty high on my list of things I’d like to accomplish soon. I just recently moved into a new house and I know the perfect place to put one of those grandfather clocks. It might be one of the most unique trophies we get in our sport. I think we have a pretty good shot at Martinsville too. I’ve run well there the last few years and I’m learning what I want in a car there. It’s a place where you need to conserve your tires. If you can do that, you can be there at the end. And you need to get a pretty good starting spot on those late cautions. If the breaks fall our way, I have no doubt this Shell-Pennzoil team can get one of those clocks.”
